Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement 3D model conversion and checking algorithms, and help guide the transition to a modular, component-based architecture.

What you’ll do

As an engineer of our SaaS platform organization, you will work on core capabilities that are critical to the performance, scalability, and quality of our product. Your focus will be on developing and optimizing complex, performance-sensitive functionality where accuracy and efficiency are key differentiators for our customers.

Our platform is evolving from hosted in our own data-center to a cloud-enabled architecture, with components running across desktop and cloud environments (Azure, Windows, Mac).

You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary, agile setup alongside product, engineering, and quality roles, contributing to both the technical direction and the continuous improvement of our platform.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible for the design and implementation of core platform functionality that underpins our SaaS offering. You work closely with lead engineers and your peers to translate user and business needs into reliable, high-quality software. In this role, you guide and mentor other engineers and collaborate with fellow senior engineers to balance new feature development with architectural and technical improvements. You maintain a strong focus on security, software quality, and delivered business value.

You play a key role in evolving our platform architecture toward a more modular, cloud component-based design, ensuring that best practices and long-term maintainability are consistently applied.

Our engineering team consists of over 40 Engineers, Testers, and Product Owners, divided over six Scrum teams. Our development team is diverse and international (we have over 20 nationalities!), and our working language is English.

Our tech stack

• Backend: mostly C#, with some C++

• Frontend: VueJS, React

• Cloud: Azure

What will make you successful in this role

• You have 5+ years software engineering and have strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and performance.

• You have good knowledge of and experience using, Design Patterns, SOLID principles and TDD and you value an agile mindset.

• You have proven record of working with large-scale applications.

• You can mentor and help other Engineers grow or you would like to develop these skills.

• You thrive in a highly collaborative environment where innovation and initiative is valued.

• You have a learning mindset and continually research best practices and new tooling.
  

Bonus points

• You have experience with software optimization and algorithms.

• Knowledge and experience in 3D technology or BIM.

• Knowledge and experience in component based development and API-first development.
